Bjelolasica, Croatia

Slejme

Slejme is very close to Zagreb (15kms away) in the Medvednica mountains at 730-1030m high. The track is 4 kms long, has 6 ski lifts.

Platak

Wonderful ski track close to Rijeka. You can see Cres island in good weather conditions. The slopes are lying at 1100-1363m above sea level, about 5km long and have 5 lifts. Possible to skiing and snowboarding too.

Velebno

The most southern area for skiing in Croatia, near Karlobag (only 12m away from the Adriatic sea). As the sea is close, the microclimate is special and makes the quality of snow close to California's.

Blue and red tracks available at 924-1100m high. Nighttime skiing is ok. Perfect daytrip from Zadar.

Last but not least the major one. Bjelolasica is the major training area for Croatian athletes, located near Ogulin 620meters above sea level and about 1 hour away from Zagreb.

There are more than 6 km of skiing paths, sledging and snow-boarding, and all paths are connected by a system of cableways with three double chair lifts and three ski lifts.
